The First genre of composition: Cartoon about electric vehicles.
Rhetorical Situation: The debate of are electric cars really saving the environment from harmful gases are really a hot topic to people who are interested in technology and to people who are worried about environment savings. So this topic needs to be addressed and needs a conclusion.
Genre: I decided to do a cartoon because it is a fast and easy way to deliver information to the audience which is also attractive.
Audience: My cartoon is meant to attract everyone who are interested in buying a car but specifically it is for people who want a more efficient car and wants to do better for the environment. Another specific audience are car enthusiasts and people who are interested in technology since electric cars are very advanced compared to traditional ones.
Purpose: The purpose of this cartoon is to introduce my audience to electric cars, to those are not aware of the specific advantage I mentioned in the cartoon and to convince people to buy more electric cars instead of gas cars which will be a benefit for the buyers as well as the environment.
Stance : Sarcastic and critical.

Electric cars

Electric cars have been around its been awhile, but still its not mainstream yet because not all major automakers in the industry are making it. They are not making it yet because the debate goes on are electric cars better for the environment and how. Electric cars are better for the environment they save the environment because Evs do not release carbon gases in the environment since they don’t have an engine and do not require fossil fuels to drive. Climate change is a major issue currently, it’s a global issue. Burning of fossil fuels is one of the biggest contributors to climate change. One way that can be controlled and reduced are electric cars. It is obvious that they are better for the environment as they don’t release harmful gases in the environment. There are certain factors to the whole electric car industry.

Fossil fuels are burnt while producing the electricity to make these electric cars run. But in comparison less fossil fuels are burnt to produce electricity than the gases which are released from the gas cars. Millions of gasoline cars are being driven everyday and with that lots of carbon gases are also being released into the environment. So what if all those cars were replaced by electric cars how much harmful gases would be released into the environment? Think how less gases would be released in the environment. Not just are they better for the environment there are other advantages too. Electric cars are far more advanced than gasoline cars, electric vehicles pioneer Tesla released the first car ever that drives itself from point A to point B, no other car beside Tesla does that. Not only that there are many other features of an electric car which distinguishes itself from a traditional car. Also where it takes hundreds of dollars to run and maintain a traditional car, for electric cars its free. Its free to charge an electric car at a charging station, where it takes fifty dollars on average to fill up the tank of a gasoline car. So which would the people rather have?

Overall buying an electric car is a better bargain right now and as technology is advancing electric cars will be mainstream in the future, very soon in fact. Electric cars are the future, they are getting cheaper, they are more efficient, free to charge and lastly and most importantly, they help the environment a lot and save it from harmful gases causing climate change.
